This is our refuge, our retreat, and we decided to let others enjoy it in a simple and authentic countryside,in a lifestyle synonymous with nature. This opportunity is for those who are interested in authentic and genuine ( Italian) hospitality.

The sounds of nature, like the singing of birds, will sweeten your stay. In a moment you will have the opportunity to listen to the rustle of the wind in the branches of the trees.

We have seven comfortable and bright, (full of sun light), cottages with 6000mq of yard for your relaxation.

Completely immersed in the gentle Emilia countryside, “Il Brugnolo” still displays today of the faithful bond between humans and the land. We are surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards where you can take a walk in complete peace in an orchard, where during the right season you can pick fruits directly from the trees.

For you, your loved ones or your friends, 7 comfortable holiday apartments are waiting for you, including: 3 characteristic two-room apartments located inside the stone farmhouse dating back to 1800, and 4 new studio apartments located in a new building at the back of the farmhouse.

Our accommodations combine a rural experience with great and refined intimacy. You will enjoy the magic of the location, suspended in time, while organizing your holiday as you wish. Feel free to use our huge park for your outdoor exercise or treat yourself with a nice walk in the countryside by the small river using the pedestrian & bicycle route.

At Il Brugnolo we offer you the opportunity to know and enjoy a unique area, where you will truly be spoiled for choice among the many activities available.

We are in a wonderful region located in a very strategic place where you can easily reach all the main points of interest in the area.

You will spend your time among wonderful nature trails, to be explored by foot or by bicycle, while tasting excellent typical products from cellars, dairy factories and vinegar factories. All are open along the so called “strada dei vini e dei sapori”, or in one of the typical restaurants located near the farmhouse.

The apartments are equipped with every modern comfort such as a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, Dorelan mattresses with myform technology, independent heating or air conditioning.

The apartments are placed inside the 1800s stone farmhouse. They were renovated without affecting the original style. They are located on the ground floor and have a private entrance.

Check-in is from 2 to 9 p.m.; check-out is by about 10 a.m.; It’s possible to check out later, until 6 p.m. for a fee, on request and subject to availability. Arrivals after 9 p.m. by prior arrangement only. In case of arrivals after 9 p.m. without notice, the apartment may not be delivered.

Brugnolo is a pet friendly farmhouse where dogs and cats are welcome. We have some apartments that can accommodate your dogs (alternatively, you can leave them in free outdoor insulated boxes) and vast green areas, our vineyards, where your four-legged friends can run freely without the danger of cars.

We only ask you, in order to best satisfy you, to indicate at the time of booking if you are traveling with dogs in tow.

We decided to avoid having a restaurant to respect the stillness of our guests, yet there are several restaurants and trattorias close to Il Brugnolo which offer the best of typical cuisine for those who want to taste the Reggio Emilia delicious cooking.                               

However, the apartments are equipped for those who want to prepare exquisite dishes using our local products. At the following link you will find a selection of restaurants, bars and other gastronomic facilities we recommend in the area: Where to eat in the surroundings of Il Brugnolo.

We are able to accommodate large groups (there are 7 housing units at your disposal which can host from 2 to 4 people each) and ensure them the maximum privacy and the best comfort. In fact, you can choose independent solutions, apartments equipped with kitchen for the families and in the evening, you can have dinner all together in our common room. In addition, when the weather is good, you can dine in the wonderful outdoor park, under the gazebo, using our barbecues. Here, at the Brugnolo, you can book the whole structure consisting of two building only divided by the courtyard or you can reserve the one and only ancient farmhouse composed of three two-room apartments or alternatively the four studios located in the new building.    

The property can also accommodate cyclists and motorcyclists, to whom are reserved some facilities like closed parking spots, workshop for potential repairs and a space to wash bikes and motorcycles.

Our advice is to use your own car to get here: Il Brugnolo is located in the open countryside and using the public transport can be tricky from here.

If you report the presence of your pets when making the reservation,
we can get you one of our comfortable two-room apartments on the ground floor.
