A little more than 15 kilometers from our farmhouse is the Aquatic Park of Reggio Emilia, a beautiful park where children and adults in the summer can enjoy themselves among slides, pools and water games. Reachable in about 20 minutes by car, the park is ideal for those who want to spend a day relaxing and having fun just like at the beach, all within walking distance of the city. When the temperatures start to rise, there is nothing nicer than having fun with water and spending whole days in the pool.
The park is equipped with many attractions, in fact, there are: an 8-lane regulation Olympic-size pool; a Lagoon Pool with water jets and fountains; a Wellness Pool with foot massage and whirlpool; a Children’s Moon Pool with a playful castle consisting of small slides, waterfalls, water jets and swings; a Slow River with 12 45-degree cannons; the Toboga Slide that starts at a height of 11 mt for a length of 90 mt; the Dropgeant slide on single or double inflatables that starts at a height of 11 mt for a length of 80 mt; and the Sliding Hill with 7 undulating pools that starts at a height of 8 mt for a length of 35 mt. At Aquatico, fun is guaranteed for the whole family!!!
There is also a soccer field, beach volleyball court, basketball court, trampoline and two play areas for children. In addition, the park also has: Kinema Shop, a sales outlet where you can buy all the products you need to spend a day at the pool; Catering Area and Bar Area for lunches, snacks and aperitifs; and Pic Nic Area, with tables and chairs, ideal for eating packed lunches together. To enliven the days at the Park a little, there are entertainers, with whom you can have fun with Aquagym, Group Dances and Baby Dance.
